The author of this blog is Alice Adams. Here's a little bit about her in her own words:

"Alice Adams is a registered nurse and legal nurse consultant in Atlanta. Her specialty defense areas are medical malpractice, premises liability and product liability. She is an expert in the area of workers compensation and has reversed many controverted meritorius cases. Living and working in Atlanta since 1985, she knows the best physicians and expert witnesses in Georgia and the southeast.

Alice's nursing experience includes orthopedics and Intensive Care, internal medicine, and assisting med/surg residents in a regional teaching hospital.

In Atlanta, she is the nurse administrator for a well-known psychodiagnostic practice, analyzing greater than 5000 medical records to examine the dynamic relationship between physical illness and mental disorder.

Alice is the 2011 President of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultant's Atlanta chapter, and presents to regional conferences on the topics of social media in healthcare and psychological assessment in presurgical candidates.

Alice is well known for her strong consultation reports and is a contributing author to the AALNC's textbook: Growing Your Practice: Resources, Tools & Reports."
